Did you try the task master(Ctrl Alt Delete)? You shold be able to get to everything from there. It may take a lot of trial and error if you are as illiterate as me, but should work!

Trying to delete Windows IE 7 but no 'remove' button in add remove programs in control panel.?
This thing continously gives problems. When I go to C drive Programs, find it and try to delete it warns that other programs may not work if it is deleted. I'm not sure if that's bogus or not. What's the best way to get rid of it as it is not working and can't go anywhere on the internet.

You can't have too many buttons on a remote control! First, I'd use Fast Forward to go through fights with my Dad. All I do anyways is just sit there and tap my foot, so I'm not missing out on anything. Next, I would so totally go for a 'Transport me' button. I mean, common, you could go anywhere! Who wouldn't want to be able to go anywhere they wanted with just a push of a button? You can't have too many buttons on a remote control! First, I'd use Fast Forward to go through fights with my Dad. All I do anyways is just sit there and tap my foot, so I'm not missing out on anything. Next, I would so totally go for a 'Transport me' button. I mean, common, you could go anywhere! Who wouldn't want to be able to go anywhere they wanted with just a push of a button? The problem with my remote is the same thing that I think happens to most remotes. After a while, the buttons don't respond as well as they used to. I have to press hard on them for them to work. In the beginning, the buttons were very responsive and a light press was all it took for them to work. Now, because I've been pressing them so hard after all this time, I have to practically mash them down for them to work. Is there a way to fix this? I'll even open up the remote if I have to. I think that button controls are available but I'm not sure how I can use them. I bought Fight Night Round 4 when it came out, and I enjoyed it. The only thing I hated about it was the controls, I hate using the stick to punch. I'm use to it now, but I still hate it.

When they push the buttons harder, the remote moves and sometimes that causes the batteries to shift some. They get some energy and they work for a short period of time longer. I have done that many times. It is effective if you don't want to get up and get batteries.
For the exact same reason they plead to their car when it doesn't start, or shake the Bic when it doesn't light, or sqint to see when it's obviously too dark - sometimes, just sometimes, it seems to work!
Because they think that there's some electricity left in the remote and by pushing the button harder it gets some flow going. Kinda like CPR.

I think that when the battery is low, sometimes if you keep pressing, you will eventually get that little spark of juice, enough to get the channel to change so you can avoid having to get up and either find a new battery or God forbid, actually go to the reciever and press a button on the TV itself!
Some times it actually works, because the receptors have better contact. Another trick is to open the battery cover and spin them in their place to change their position (or take them out and put them back in).

Dish Network remote control / Sony STR-DH800 ';select button'; programming?
I have a Sony STR-DH800 receiver that I am controlling through a Dish Network remote control. All works well except for the ';Select'; button. It scrolls through the inputs but not all inputs. I cannot switch to HDMI sources with the Dish Remote.

It depends on the kind of relationship! I'm a woman and when i'm with my partner he can just tell me to shut-up... it's our own way of communicating and learning eachothers boundries...when one person wants quiet the other person is on ';mute';. One possible reason might be that they are in instant denial, they don't want to believe it's not working right now because they are desperate to watch TV because that's their addiction in the present moment. These are also people who cannot calmly handle life's challenges. They get upset at the least little thing going wrong. They need to just take life as it comes, stay relaxed no matter what happens, be patient, and think of solutions. Me, I'd just say, oh, well, better go get some more batteries. Microsoft Excel - Inserting a Button (Form Control)?
I want to add buttons representing certain products at certain prices. In ICT class I am doing a cinema and want different buttons to represent different products at different prices. So when i click the button in a cell a formula adds up how much it is costing.
Does anyone know how to do it because there is Macros i believe involved and I hate them!

The trac button is for you to spin your front tires. When on you cant spin them. But when you turn traction control off. You can burn your wheels off the rim. The a/c thing can't be that hard. Sorry I don't know what the control panel looks like so I really can't help you. Good Luck with that

Craftsman garage door opener won't close without keeping the control button down?
A few weeks ago it was doing the same thing, but the light would flash THREE times. I adjusted one ';eye'; a little bit and it worked again.
Now when I try to close it, the unit flashes TEN times. One eye is green and the other light is yellow. I don't remember if the second light was yellow before.Craftsman garage door opener won't close without keeping the control button down?
Ten flashes is actually the default signal that there is an issue with the photo eyes (which you had adjusted before). On these units one eye is always green, the other always yellow. If one of the photo eyes is knocked out of line or something is obstructing the path of the beam the green light will go out - the yellow light should stay lit at all times as it is a power/signal indicator. If both lights are lit and the opener still acts as though the beams are blocked it is usually one of two things:
(1) Look closely at the green light and make sure it is burning solid and not actually blinking really fast. Sometimes the eye can be barely out of line so that the light is flashing so quickly it looks solid from a distance.
(2) One of the photo eye wires has a short in it. Check the wire going to each photo eye to make sure it doesn't have any exposed areas that could cause a short. Also check where the wires are attached to the back of each photo eye - sometimes they can be hit and become loose so that the vibration of the door causes it to momentarily disconnect.

I'm having trouble with my gas needle and traction control button.?
I have a 1997 Oldsmobile 88 LS.
Starting off with my gas needle. Ever since I bought this car I never realized that the gas needle in the dash was broken (giving me false readings). One time when I was riding down the street the car just stop on me, the engine shuts off, and the steering wheel started to lock. The car did not alert me (the low gas signal did not even flash). The crazy thing was that the needle says that I have a full tank of gas. But really it was empty like a dried up desert. After putting in 5 gallons of gas the car started again. This time the needle goes down to half a tank. Once I start driving, it moves again to a quarter tank, once I got home it was pointing to full tank. Does any of you knows whats going on. No body else seems to knows whats the problem. Money would not be an issue, I need to get this thing fixed. I'm getting sick and tired of this car shutting off on me because the gas ran out, especially while I'm riding on the damn expressway.(I some times forget to add gas). Its also my first car, I have three other cars, I just want to keep it as history. A very good car too.

Dell Inspiron 1520 problem with the media control buttons.?
The chrome paintwork seemed to be coming off 'inside' of these seven little buttons and is very unsightly whenever the blue lights comes on!! A manufacturing defect?

It sounds to me like you have too much loaded in your startup for the 512 mb of ram to cope with. In your system tray..area beside the clock..bottom right. Everything there is loaded in your ram. You want to keep it as clean as posible. Items that you remove from there will still work..just go to Start and select the program to run. Follow these steps to get rid of items you dont need.
You'll have to go to ';start';...';Run'; and type in MSCONFIG
When the windows pops up go to the ';startup'; and ';services'; tabs ONLY...and uncheck anything you don't need (Dont unchech any microsoft or antivirus files)...Click Apply....system will want to reboot....reboot....a window will appear saying you made changes to the startup......put a checkmark in the small box bottom left...your done.
If you make a mistake...simply go back in and fix it. These other steps will also free up your ram.
Go to ';Start';...';My Computer';.....Right-click on ';Local disk C:'; drive and select ';Properties'; From here we can actually see the space on your harddrive...run the disk cleanup...it will show you a list of files...those file are always trash...so select ';Checkmark'; each of the files unless you are certian you don't want to delete a certian file...then just don't ';checkmark'; that file ....now let the system clean itself.
(This next step takes a long time and you cannot use the computer while running this program...best bet is to run this before going to bed....it will be finished by the morning)

Control Button on Keyboard won't work!?
I keep trying to use the CTRL (control button) on my keyboard..both sides and it won't work. I've tried different keyboards, made sure non of my programs, sticky keys, anything like that could be interfearing with it. I'm on XPSP2S..I heard there might be some problems with it that way...I can't even do CTRL+ALT Delete..I've used keyboard diagnostic programs, and they didn't even register the control key being pushed on multiple keyboards, it's as if my computers blocked it! Why do people press remote control buttons harder of they know the battery is out?
When you push a remote control button, it pushes a conductor down onto a pair of contacts to make the operation occur. Over time, these contacts can become dirty. Pushing down harder on the button may cause a fleck of dirt to flatten out, resulting in contact being made.
Also, if the batteries are going low, pressing down normally might cause a certain amount of contact area, while pressing harder might result in more contact area. This increase in contact area might be enough to allow the function to occur, where normal pressing didn't quite do the job.
Another thing I do when the batteries seem low is take off the battery cover, remove the batteries, and reseat them. Sometimes a bit of dirt or corrosion gets on the battery terminals and doesn't let all of the battery power get to the remote control circuits. It is not braille. It is a way that the driver can feel the controls without looking at the controls. If you look down at your computer keyboard, you will notice two horizontal lines, one on the ';f'; key, and one on the ';j'; key. Photoshop problem/the control button?
My control button isnt working, for shortcuts. I even went the program paint and tried the shortcuts with the control button but its not working, BOTH of the control buttons.........but it works when i do CTRL+ALT+DELETE and it works in word when i copy and paste (CTRL P and CTRL V) but it doesnt capatalize letters.......do i just need a new keyboard?? Well I'm kinda confused on what you are trying to do. I don't use many short cuts, myself. I like the menus, but if the CTRL +V is working and CTRL + P is working, then it's not your keyboard. Try making sure these are not the culprit.
1) Make sure caps lock is OFF
2) Make sure Num Lock is ON
3) Make sure Scroll Lock is OFF
4) If the letter is supposed to be capitalised, try CTRL + Shift + (letter)
