Do the other buttons work? If so then you may have dirt around the start button to impede it from working. Try using a damp (not wet) cloth and clean around it.The start button on my wireless Xbox controls does not work ?
Could be that your batteries are dead? Make sure the batteries are in correctly and they are fresh batteries or fully charged if they are rechargables
