You need to install your audio drivers.

I assume you meant you reinstalled the operating system which isn't a ';reboot'; which is just restarting it. When you install an OS you have to install the audio drivers yourself. The Windows installation doesn't do it for you.

It happened to me once too.
You need a pc course! You dont mean you rebooted it, you reinstalled windows! You now need the drivers for your system which will be found on the manufactures website. Reboot simply means shut down and restart.
