What do the letters ';SCV'; stand for on the volume control button on a car sterio?

I have a am/fm/cd player car stereo. The letters SCV are on the volume control button. Does anyone know what they stand for and what it does for my system? What do the letters ';SCV'; stand for on the volume control button on a car sterio?
the above 2 explanations are exactly right. but i believe it's speed compensated volume. in some cars the feature can be enabled and disabled since it gets annoyingWhat do the letters ';SCV'; stand for on the volume control button on a car sterio?
On my car when I am at a light the volume lowers and when I am driving the volume goes up to drown out road noise....check it out but I think it is ';speed controlled volume';?
YUpp BMW Is Right... It's A New Function That Has Been Added To Radios. The Volume Will Go Up As Your Speed Goes Up. When Yo Slow down It Will Lower Itself. But After A While It Gets Annoying....
