Just click on the dell quickset and turn on the sound displayI have a Dell Inspiron. I can no longer see the volume display on screen when I use the volume control buttons
Start, control panel, sound icon, put a check on the little box that says show Volume in the task bar.
Take the CD with the sound that came with your computer
and rerun it. Repair. It will put it back on. It is the one that
has the key board instaull.
