On the ps3 control how do i turn the ps button red?

i been trying to turn it on but it still off and i have seen pics of it red so anyone know how to turn it red?On the ps3 control how do i turn the ps button red?

there is NO red light in the button





they just did that as a selling gimmick to make it look cool in the advertisements





besides, if it was there, you'd be wasting so much battery

It does not turn red unless you modify it, which is only a luxury, not a necessity.
Leave it pressed till it turns red.
if you push the ps button the button wont light up but the light at the top of the controller will.......
The first guy was right. The center PS button on the PS3 does not turn red. When I first bought my PS3 I thought that center PS button on the PS3 controller would turn red, but it doesn't.





The red PS button was just used for marketing because I read about it. But I do wish that it did turn red, it would just look a lot cooler.
you cannot, it's red simply for show. you have to buy a LED light and customize the button, that's what some people did.
