Why does the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am have braille on the cruise control buttons?

It is not braille. It is a way that the driver can feel the controls without looking at the controls. If you look down at your computer keyboard, you will notice two horizontal lines, one on the ';f'; key, and one on the ';j'; key. This is for the same reason. Why does the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am have braille on the cruise control buttons?
They obviously are not meant for the blind. They are meant to let you know which button you are pressing without taking your eyes off the road. Why does the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am have braille on the cruise control buttons?
That's not braille. Those bumps are there to help your fingers from slipping off the buttons. Putting braille on automobile controls would be kinda rediculous.
Maybe to be able to press them without having to see them, especially at night.

Not just that model has those.
For sight impaired drivers. :)
