My bottome task bar is gone off screen. I have no start button, can't get into control panel. Please help?

Three things to try:





1) Your browser may be in full screen mode. If you only lose the taskbar (that's the one with the Start button on it) when the browser is running, try pressing F11 to switch from full screen to normal mode.





2) Your taskbar may be set to ';auto-hide';. If it is in auto-hide, you should be able to hover your mouse near the bottom edge of the screen and it should re-appear. You can turn this behavior off through the taskbar properties menu (right-click on the taskbar and select properties).





3) Explorer (the application providing the taskbar services) may have crashed or failed in some way. Try re-booting your computer. That will restart Explorer and should restore the taskbar (if that was the problem).
