Plug something into the same power outlet and make sure that there is actually power to that outlet.
Leave your converter unplugged for a while and then plug it in to a know working electrical outlet. (Because there is a computer chip in the converter that might be locked up. Unplugging it for a while is like rebooting a computer.)
If it still won't turn on, it's broken. If it's under warranty try to exchange it. If not, buy another one.Couldn't turn on tv converter box either by remote control or power on/off button on the converter, how to fix?
