You walk into a control room and you see a button saying ';Press to End Suffering, Prejudice, and Conflict';...?

Do you press it?You walk into a control room and you see a button saying ';Press to End Suffering, Prejudice, and Conflict';...?
Yes.

It's the fruit punch machine. You walk into a control room and you see a button saying ';Press to End Suffering, Prejudice, and Conflict';...?
%26gt;PRESS BUTTON

You press the button. The lights begin slowly flashing on and off, as a strange machine begins to rise from the floor.

%26gt;GET MACHINE

You cannot get the machine.

%26gt;LOOK AT MACHINE

The machine appears to be the size of a laptop, with a screen on the outside and a keyboard connected to it.

%26gt;PRESS KEYBOARD

I'm sorry, I don't understand that command.

%26gt;INPUT WORLD PEACE INTO KEYBOARD

Hey, that worked. You look outside, where people from all races and creed drop their various weapons, and begin to hug, and kiss. And kiss some more. Good Lord, what have you done?!? They're all ripping each others clothes off. The sounds of sweaty lovemaking are audible even in the soundproofed control room.

%26gt;GET TO IT

Oh, you get in on that. You get in on that like crazy.
Turn the world back into the garden of Eden I suppose is your point, where nothing bad ever happens to anything.

Why would we need God then? would we believe in God if things were perfect since the beginning of human history?. Where would our perspective of things come from then?

Also, what if God did just show up one day on our tv screens? Obviously we would all know he exists. However, I suspect that just because we knew he existed, not everybody would come to love him.

God does want people to come to love him. You learn to love God by realizing just how messed up your life is without him. I suspect this would be hard in a perfect world where nothing bad ever happened. Also, he doesn't want robots, he doesn't want to make you love him, that really isn't love if you have no other LOGICAL choice...thats merely logic alone.
So a ';kill all humans in existence'; button? No.

Flaw is what makes life beautiful. Imagine if there was no flaw in life. No imperfections in the genetic code, thus no evolution. Life would not exist, outside of a self-replicating RNA molecule. Flaw made bacteria into eukaryotes, which became multicellular organisms. Flaw turned algae into trees, and flowers. Flaw made it possible for intelligence and emotion to emerge. Let us not hate flaw, but embrace it, for it is what many call ';the Miracle of Life';.
No. It might be the ';Vaporize the planet'; button (which would certainly do those things). Besides, there are always unintended consequences to every act. And an act that is claimed to do those things is bound to have some lulus in that department.

No because it would probably mean the cessation of my life. The world would just continue to keep spinning as it does...

...on the other hand, I'd really be tempted if that fruit punch was made with 100% fruit juice, no added sugar, artificial flavors, colorings or preservatives!!!!!
Unfortunately this is an impossibility. Such button would cause a vast amount of people to die if it wanted to end suffering permanently. Even then, that would cause suffering in the relatives of those people.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.

Eleanor Roosevelt
I would, and then everything would die.
I would just cut the power cables to the control room instead.
Oh the doomsday button. No people no suffering no conflinct.

hmm...lets see

hmm.

Hell yeah!

*Press*
No, riots will break out claiming ';Goddidit';
No

I would be too afraid of how that goal would be achieved.
No because I might die. Although it would be nice.
Of course I would.
Sure.
Ummmm....doubts arise if it's deceptive...but hell, it's worth a shot, so yes.
No. I'm just an *** like that.
No way. I'm a good christian, so I'm gonna wait for Jesus to do it for me...
