because your computer is warning you, for security purposes that a download was initiated.. you do not have to except, but in many cases for you to continue with what you WANT to do.. it is necessary. but like i said, for security reasons, it warns you.. just in case you did not WANT to download anything, and some site was just trying to force some virus into your system. 99% of the time, the active x control is safe.Why is that when i go to my myspace theres a button that pops up saying i need to download an activex control?
ActiveX is an application used on many websites. It will not harm your PC. Not downloading the ActiveX control may impair the way the website looks. Other than that, it will have no affect on your PC.
its ok to download that it helps with graphics and things....dont worry it will not hurt yr pc......
It is necessary to download Active X control. You need this because My Space uses it. It is a programming code like Java or Flash. If you have windows Xp you can download from the information bar on the top of your screen. If not I am not sure. Hope this helps :-)
