i think many times automakers may make many parts generic. for instance there is generally only one wiring harness for a particular type of vehicle. the wiring for options is usually there weather or not its actually installed. perhaps that is the deal with you situation.Why does my 1989 Toyota Camry have Cruise Control Buttons but no Cruise Control?
There is either a bad fuse, bad part under the hood, or someone changed the engine and left some parts out or unhooked
WELL IF YOU ACTIVATING IT CORRECTLY THEN SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT LIKE THE TRANS-DEUCER OR FUSE OR MAYBE SOME REMOVED IT HAVE IT CHECKED BY A GOOD SHOP THEY SHOULD LOOK UNDER THE HOOD AND MAKE SURE ITS ALL THERE AND COULD SIMPLE AND COULD BE $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
maybe you're not pressing it right.... ionno
maybe 1 of the fuses is disconnected.
